Talk me out of it please.....

Some funny replies....
After a rethink..... I probably don't need as much launch as the ap1 would give..... I pretty much know my own distances now and to redo all those again would be like too Mich work.... And I suppose if I were to compare my own with the Mizunos then all of be really going for is a newer version similar to what I'm already playing.....

So your ordering the 64s?

When I see people chopping and changing clubs so often on here I always think they don't play enough golf...

My current Irons have been in my bag 18 months now Lump...... Thats a record for me...
Their working fine though which is why im a little reluctant to change them....... I need to stay away from the shops.....

Having had the TM Tour Preffered's in the bag for three years or so and having resisted so well I succumbed to the lure of the Ping. Even though the numbers on the two separate fittings were obvious I still have a yearning for the I20 and now their new offering. I'll hit them tomorrow, no doubt badly, and then that will be that. Until the Cally Apex which also looks a gorgeous club. There will be more to yearn after next year too so I am never say never anymore

think he changed his clubs a few mths back or was it roberbum

@kid2, Dont do it, with a good swing you can hit anything

I did get some new clubs 2 months ago. They are Ping Zing 2's and I really like them. But it is true to say I rarely change equipment. As an aside, played with a friend today who had i20's and I'd swear when you put my 7 iron next to his 8, they looked like the same loft, his may have even been stronger!

To the OP, get the clubs if you want them and it will make you happy. It won't improve your golf though, sadly.

If you had your way id be playing them before the weekend Pal....:ears:

Just living my dreams through you....:D

Your FG have been in your bag 18 months but it's your second set is it not?

Second set of them... I played them when i was off 20 and regretted selling them.... Had the chance to swap a set of Ping i10's for the ones i have now and jumped at it.......

Got some green dot i20's here for you Homer...

OP-I fall into the same trap every time I go to a golf shop/on eBay etc so I really shouldn't offer advice!

Your 7-iron is 34.5 and your 8 is 38.5
The I20s are 33 and 37 resp.

So only a little change with Pings. The G series are 1 degree stronger than the 'I' series.

Talk you out of it? OK - what about if I told you that everything you can get from a new club you can get from your existing ones if you learn to hit them a bit better or slightly differently. So don't waste your money.
