Played in our weekly roll-up today, and what a difference front to back nine.

As I'm not getting out much at the moment it took a while to get going.

15 points front nine and 21 back, with a 4,4,3,4, point finish!!! :o

Had to dash off home after a quick drink and was texted by my mate who was in my group to say I'd won the back nine and come third overall!!! :)

Maybe less is more!!!

Really couldn't get into my game today. Head not there (too much stuff going on at home/work) and I literally stood there and hit it. Got away with it on the longer shots but cost me loads on the greens. Bad score wasn't helping my mood anyway. Duffed drive at 10 and the red mist almost came down. Hit the green on 11 and made par and everything started to click. Much better back nine even though I really had to focus on the swing and block out all the domestic crap

Treat it as the escape it should be pal. Out on the course you can forget anything going on at work/home and focus on doing things right.

Not as easy as that, I appreciate. But there's no point getting out and doing something you enjoy if you let your round be ruined by things on your mind.
