A friend has moved from his club to join me at my new one too.
He cancelled his old membership on 31st March and on Friday got in to our new club after two weeks on the waiting list.
He's been told he'll now have to submit three cards for a new handicap???

Surely that can't be right?

He just has to give his new club his CDH number

As Val says i would have thought the same, unless he doesn't have a handicap??

or alternatively, he can put in 3 terrible cards get himself a really high handicap and then clean up in first few comps:LOL:

It isn't. His new club should simply assign his current handicap. Are they aware he has actually transferred from another club and will have a CDH ID?

Ditto to above comments if he has a CDH number he just gives it to them and they transfer control of his handicap to themselves.
