Now, I'm a Mackem through and through, so I may be slightly biased, but that save from Gordon I've just seen on MOTD was amazing.

Almost as good as Montgomery's double save in the '73 Cup final.

Not bad for Scotlands second choice keeper

I would have to say that Scotland does have a rich talent in goalkeeping.

I hate to admit that McGregor is also an outstanding goalkeeper, miles better than anything England could ever produce at present and in my opinion he deserves to keep the Scotland number 1 jersey.

Gordon is also top drawer material.

A great save by Britains best keeper by a country mile.

A good save, and probably the best Scottish goalkeeper but best in goalkeeper in Britain? Not for me.

One headline save does not make him that in my opinion.

Sawtooth, who would you put above him?

Not saying he is, just that he's kept Sunderland in many a game with great displays and saves, and has done the same consistently for Scotland and Hearts, when he was there.

I wouldn't say this is his only headline!!

Sawtooth,he is the best without doubt and I aint talking about 1 save, the guy is quality and his only slight weakness is cross balls but he has improved 100% on this since his day with the diet huns.

Tell us whom you think is no1?

Good, but not as good as Gordon Banks save from Pele in 1970 world cup. Still blame Jeff Astle (R.I.P) for missing a sitter that would have given us a draw. :(

Foster and Hart couldn't lace Gordon or McGregor's boots, that is a FACT!

Craw,Shagger is indeed a fine keeper and it really would not surprise me if he didn't get snapped up in January.Arsenal desperately need a quality keeper and he would be a superb signing for them.

Imagine what he could up to in the bright lights of London.....as the song goes 'He dives to the left,he dives to the right,Alan McGregor, shags ten burds a night!' ;)
