Summer holiday

It is my 10th Wedding Aniversary in November and my 40th in December so will probably do a big trip to encompass one or both of them. Would like to go back to Thailand or somewhere in the far east and may get a round or 2 in whilst I am there.

As for the summer, I am spending 5 days in a tent at the Download festival and that is about it.

Fuerteventura in March

New York April

Mexico in July

Plan on playing atleast a round in all three even on my own if needs be as I cant imagine the missus taking it up for a week or two.

Any reccomendations on courses would be great.

Starting in Lincolnshire (obviously), up the right hand side to Fife. Turn left to the other side, maybe across to Ireland. Then down the left side to Devon/Cornwall, along the bottom bit and back up the right hand side back home.
So that will be about 1,400 miles about 20/25 games of golf and should take about 2 weeks

Bob, how about getting yourself sponsored? Maybe arranging some games with forumers along the route with each player putting money in to the kitty? Plus other general donations etc. If you fancy a game in the Gloucester/Bristol area then I'd be very happy to join you.

Nothing planned at the moment but wife has been trawling the web hinting, golf wise I have no trips planned, very unusual maybe should have gone to Machrihanish.
Bob if your up this year and free it would be a shame not to get a game in Perthshire and you would be welcome at my place.

I'm sure I'll be stopping off for a game round your way. Will mark that one down on the list.

As I said, I'll be staying in Fife for a few days so fancy playing Carnoustie and at least one other while I'm up there. Perth is now on the list too. :)

Hoping my summer holiday will be to Southport for the GM Forum Meet. Plenty of golf and a to include a trip to Blackpool.:whoo:

I would love to have a game with you if you come anywhere close to me....

Always welcome for a stop off at my place Bob. Not sure if you haven't been banned at the Club though, for your supposed language after your four putt and shank.

Will probably head over to visit my Mum down in the Dordogne at some point this year. She mistakenly packed my brothers golf clubs so I have a set down there to use luckily.

Also planning a golfing weekend to the north of France in July to play Hardelot Les Pins and Wimeraux Links.....my first time ever playing a links course and really looking forward to it.

All inclusive at the Abou Sofiane in Port el Kantaoui, Tunisia at the end of April. We were there two years ago and it was superb. Not a golfing holiday but HID and I might play a round if the mood takes us.
