Summer holiday

So, what is everyone got planned/planning ?
Golfing/non golfing?
UK or abroad?
With family or friends?

I've got a daft idea about doing a world golf tour of Britain.

Starting in Lincolnshire (obviously), up the right hand side to Fife. Turn left to the other side, maybe across to Ireland. Then down the left side to Devon/Cornwall, along the bottom bit and back up the right hand side back home.
So that will be about 1,400 miles about 20/25 games of golf and should take about 2 weeks :D
 
sounds a great idea! but going to be a hectic 2 weeks with 1,400 miles and averaging almost 2 rounds a day not much of a relaxing holiday.

nothing much planned for me ourgate looking most likely although the rest of the clan are off to Port aventura and trying to get us to go, (anybody played the courses down there in salou?)
 
Scotland doesn'r stop at Fife

Would be a shame to miss out some great courses further North - eg in Aberdeenshire and Nairnshire.
 
No golfing holiday this year so taking HID to Cape Verda in May and also going to the Dominican Republic Punta Cana in December were there is about 4 golf courses at the back of the hotel happy days
 
Golfing holiday in Scotland - Old Course + is still the plan but haven't yet felt in the right frame of mind to work out when and where etc. Need to get my logistics brain in gear.

Plus The Lakes for a week and hopefully some sunny breaks in the caravan in Norfolk.
 
Our summer holidays are based around the kids National golf comps, one is Cornwall, then 2 weeks later we are off to Cheshire, then a week after that one we finish in Harrogate !!
 
Scotland in late July/early August for 2 weeks. Going to play a bit of golf around Aberdeen. Might nip up to Nairn but the wife hass given me a round at Dornoch for Christmas so definitely going there. Still have some other holiday to take so will think about more golf closer to the time
 
No golf on our holidays. HID gives me loads of latitude to play throughtout the year so I give her all of me for our 2 days in Skegness... on kidding. Sicily, Las Vegas (golf trip with buddies & wives), Gran Canaria + 2 motorbike tours in the UK and 1 in France.
 
Cyprus for two weeks, 5* all inclusive in July.

Our friends are getting married out there, so we decided to couple it with our summer hols.

Costing us an arm, leg, kidney and lung but the place we're going looks utterly amazing!

No golf planned :( But if there's a course near by and I get a day I might rent some clubs and get a round in.

Pretty much exactly the same as that! Our friends are getting married in the middle of September and we're staying for a week. Cannot wait!

Also got a stag do in Amsterdam in June (not mine, I hasten to add). I will not be classing that as a holiday though, as I will no doubt be a mess when we get back to Blighty.
 
Two weeks in Florida in May with the war office and 2 kids. Planning on at least 2 rounds there with another forummer or two while there.

Then at least a week in Scotland in the summer with 5 or 6 rounds of golf in the Borders and Fife areas.
