Not sure as I like a bit of sun and resting by the pool but prices have shot up since last year. Don't they know people are skint? Wife fancies Orkney! Anyone ever booked last minute to abroad for July and had success or a nightmare?? May be tempted.

Greedy i know , but we have few vices and it is our main indulgence . Made easier by the fact that the kids are of an age where they would rather go away with their mates . Although the full family holidays are always the best ones . Already looking at destinations for next year and with it being my 50th something long haul may be on the cards.

nothing planned for the Gibbs clan as 2 of my kids are doing exams until June, Eldest is at college and part time job (no way I am leaving him home alone, house would be wrecked), summer hols are too extortionate so another boring summer working

A month at the future father in laws Villa(his main one) for my honeymoon at Villa Martin, Costa Blanca and probaly a week in Portugal/Cyprus for golf in October.

A week in Scotland with the family for me, hope to get one day's golf in but depends if there's any space left in the car.
Not got a holiday planned although trying to factor in a long weekends around the trip to Cooden. Might nip down to Wales for a long weekend again. Stayed in a lovely B&B near Tintern Abbey when I played at St Pierre and would like to explore the Wye Valley some more
