I recently made a few tweaks to my swing that changed my shot shape to a bit of a draw, but since then all i do with full shots with my 56* is push them right, short shots around the green fine, but when i am playing a full shot, it all goes wrong.

any help or drills that i could do would be appreciated.

thanks

Have you tried standing open?

Try and make sure that the ball is placed in the middle or just slightly back of middle in the stance, then keep the hands in front of the clubface through the shot. This should stop the push to the right for you.

I play for a draw for most clubs (when a fade aint needed) but when it comes to wedges i open my stance and just play a soft fade and that gives you the control and also a nice soft landing going into those tight pins. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you are coming in to out. That will draw longer clubs but just shove the sand iron. You may find that it goes straighter if a bit farther forward in the stance (your swing path has to come back sometime), or with an open stance, so you aim left and push it straight.

Better still, try to hit the ball square to square and use some release to draw it.

The problem with the more lofted clubs (and the reduced spin on moder balls) is that its very hard to get any large sort of movement. Personally I always try and hit my PW and wedges straight with the ball in the middle of my stance and my feet slightly open. I also don't try to hit them flat out and find I have more control with a smooth 3/4 swing

TT DG wedge flex is usually about S200, so the wedges are a bit stiffer than the Nippons. Not sure if that would really make a lot of difference with a sand wedge.
