As I sit here eating some Pringles Salt+Vinegar crisps......as is usual for me, they just aren't strong enough. Not bad.....but I need more vinegar. The Co-Op sells a pretty strong own-brand S+V. Is there anything out there that will zap the heck out of me? When we were back in the States we had a favorite jalapeno crisp that we can't get here.

Have you tried the Walkers Max Strong Jalapeno & Cheese? Sitting watching the F1 with a pack and they've got a good kick to them.

Haven't seen those either....although to be fair I had written Walkers off a long time ago. Time to stare at that part of the crisp row again.....Jalapeno gets my attention....not thrilled with the cheese part. But....I'm willing to try a bag. If I don't like them my wife will eat them....she won't let me throw things out.

McCoys are pretty strong too. Again too much for me. I'm more into the balsamic vinegar and salt ones these days.

I lost my smell and along with that my taste a few years ago now so I can tell I’m eating crisps but no idea what the flavour is unless I’ve seen the packet. The other day I was putting marmite on my toast and with the knife I was trying marmite then butter and there really wasn’t much in it.

A little sprinkle of battery acid? ?

when I were a young‘un and the only crisps flavours were salt, my cousin always put loads of vinegar on his crisps. they did go a bit soggy in places but the flavour strength is in your control.

I've just realised that there is an American food import shop in Lowestoft which is just down the road from me. If you let me have the brand you were getting out there I'll pop in and have a look to see if they stock them and if not see if they are able to get them in.
