Strokeplay or Stableford......

Im always happy just playing golf no matter what format, its because of the way I think when playing that I never get annoyed other than with myself briefly, its all pleasure for me as there is always something positive no matter how bad my round is. If I entered a stableford with the view to winning all that would change.

HNJ this is exactly the point i'm trying to make , albeit in my long-winded way ;)
 
Stableford is a great way to play socially but at the end of the day Medal play is the true measure.

Having said that the lack of uptake for Medal comps as compared to Stablefords shows what people like.

To be quite honest I do not see the point of anyone with a handicap of higher than 18 playing in a Medal.I cannot see where the enjoyment is for them and it just seems to result with lots of NRs.
