Reading thru this thread has been enjoyable.I’ve been to two well known instructors that tried to get me to shallow.One was by doing it physically with forearm rotation.The second was using the squat and lower body turn and the hands are passive.Both methods worked when I was moving the club at 20 mphs and hitting 50 yard 7 irons.But once I added any speed I went back to being steep.So sadly I gave up on it.Their thinking is after many reps in slow motion it will bleed over in my full speed swing.Well after Many a season of drilling their info.I can honestly say it never worked that way.Maybe some of us are just destined to swing more steep on top of the ball
