Yes correct, 60degrees minimum for towels and bedding.
Always makes me laugh when I have someone ask me to remove my shoes before entering(I have shoe covers instead) as they have a baby, but wash everything at 30 degrees

It's the ones where I have to wipe my feet on the way out that get me!

I've got one booked in today that's complaining of fat dripping from her extractor fan... clean it then you chatty cow!

I drive and wedge them into the washer, putt them out to dry and finally iron them, before putting them away, does the trick

You don't have to, you just can and it washes more effectively. Colours on a hot wash can run, whites wont. You can keep them on a 40C wash if you want to play safe.
