I am on the lookout for new golf shoes! I am currently watching a few pairs of adidas adipower boosts on ebay however they are nearly all in wide fitting. Without being able to try them on I am hesitant to go ahead and get them.

Any advice on the sizing and fitting would be spot on!

Cheers

Adidas are notorious for coming up small and narrow. For years I have taken an 11/46 medium in Footjoy (although at a Footjoy fitting this year they advised a 10.5/45 wide would be better), if I ever bought Adidas it was a 12 wide and it was spot on.

Have worn Adidas for years, always had a size larger in trainers due to the narrow fit. Had two pairs of Adizero's in wide fit, they were the first Adidas shoes to fit me in the right size. I've just ordered a pair of Mi Adicross 4 in wide, but went up half size after trying a pair on in AG and found them a bit snug.

I usually buy a standard 9 in Footjoy and they fit me perfectly.
I bought a pair of "boosts" in 9 last year and they are a bit tighter, despite being marked as "wide" fitting.
I can only wear them with a really thin pair of socks.
I'd err on the side of caution if I were you.

I always go a size up and wide in adidas in comparison to Footjoy

I saw a wide pair of Adidas last year they were a great rate in the sale - tried them on and they fitted perfectly, so I would agree with the consensus of the above!

The man speaks wisdom. I find them small and narrow
