Fancied a new bag for a while now. I play in all weather conditions. Any recommendations for a stand bag?

Give me your best recommendation and your best budget recommendation if you have them!

I think Sun Mountain makes a good stand bag. Mine is five years old and in good shape. I used to have a Ping Hoofer and they are good too. I'm actually looking for a small cart bag as I don't walk and carry very often anymore. However, I don't want a huge (heavy) Tour type bag.

I’ve been using ogio stand bag for probably last two years now and when it’s time for a new one it will be another ogio there the best bags I’ve tried.

I have an Ogio bag as well, great bag - only slight moan I have with it is the handle is a bit cheap and nasty feeling. That said, it seems strong enough and is only used when putting the bag into the car.

Same bag I've recommended everyone for the last three years since I got mine... Motocaddy Hydroflex. It's the perfect bag, can't fault it at all.

Do the legs hang down at all when carrying? Thats what I didn’t like about my Titleist stadry carry bag. Legs flapping about a bit.

Ping Hoofer light. Ping bags have the best leg mechanism by a long way.

Vessel win the leg debate, by miles and miles.

Rotator system mainains full base on floor and legs have a simple elastic strap to keep them from dangling when not needed.

Add removable carry straps when using on a trolly and a host more and you will not find a better stand bag.

Slight drawback. You need a mortgage for a Vessel bag.

Yes, they're dear, but the old adage applies.

I was only making comparison to the Hoofer Lite, as I have one, having the best leg mechanism and let's be honest, they're not budget friendly either.

I've always found majority of waterproof stand bags don't have enough pockets (or lack a really large pocket to chuck in waterproofs etc). Big Max Aqua fitted the bill for me, but I went through 3 due to issues with the zips breaking. Not sure I would buy again until they sort out the zip issue.

My friend has a Vessel and it seemed really heavy to me too.

I was looking at the big max 7 as a more budget option. There’s one on eBay but that has a broken zip too. Might be best to rule that out. Thanks for the heads up.
