Stableford Scoring question....

Hi guys,

Hope you are all looking forward to the weekend and i'm sure alot of you will be having a round! I've got a 4 ball on tomorrow across the border in Spain at the Alcaidesa Links course so excited for that! I have also got my very first lesson with the Head Pro at my local (San Roque Golf & Country Club) so really intrigued as to what will come from that!

Just a simple question regarding Stableford scoring. I play off 18 therefore I get one extra shot on each hole and do not get 2 extra shots on any (I hope this is correct). The 28 handicappers get 2 extra shots on holes with handicap ratings of 1-10 and then one extra shot on the rest.

How does the scoring work for handicaps between 18 and 28? e.g. for a 25 handicapper on which holes would they get 2 extra shots? 1-6?

I would be grateful if someone could please let me know this for all handicaps between 18 and 28!

For the 25 handicapper if you take 18 holes from his H'cap 25-18 = 7

So he will get 2 shots on the holes with a stroke index of 1 to 7
