Funny this threads come up just seen my Wrap for the year.

Quite happy with that.

Mine was a bit skewed this year. I always try and listen to new music to justify paying for a music service, but this means anything I do like that I put on a few times goes straight into my top 5. Because even my favourite artists I'm not going back and listening to them again and again.

Consequently:

3. Funeral for a Friend
4. Avenged Sevenfold
5. My Chemical Romance

I did really get into Paramore this year so that's fair, but for FFaF I just had a 3 week period where I listened to all their stuff, and the same for Avenged and MCR - for all three of those there was one album from each that I really liked and probably listened to 4 or 5 times and that was enough to put them in my top 5!

Next year I won't have a Spotify Wrapped since I've now moved to YouTube Music instead. But I guess they'll have their own version of it.

Is it a bad sign that my Wrapped Listening age (21) is 35 years out?

My top 5 singles are heavily skewed towards songs that I have to learn for the cover band I'm in, as I play along with them through Spotify

Spotify has my listening age as 48, just a year out which is pretty impressive. Although my top artists might give them a clue;

4 of my top 5 tracks were 90's hardcore so it maybe gave the game away.
