i was told it was Stanley mathews,who won the belt at the dinner in the evening of winning the fa cup in as you said a raffle.

Speaking to Auntie recently we got talking family history and she reminded me my Grandad had attended the 'White Horse' Cup Final at Wembley 1923... Just googled it and officially there was 126,000 in attendance but its been estimated there were 300,000 there.... Family were living in Plaistow in them days and the West Ham goalkeeper was a near neighbour...
