No idea who Mr Whittaker is but NPG have said they're has been a test and you're losing around 4 yards.

Just presenting the story, I'm sure the statistics are out there.
Comfort and convenience over distance for me . Equally, presumably there is some form of formula, difference depending on overall length, then for my drives the gap is probably down to 1-2 yards. Not worrying about that.

I’m sure if I wear a shark skin skin tight suit my wind resistance will drop by 0.1 mph so I can swing faster and hit the ball further......

It may well be 
He has used trainers, not spikeless golf shoes. My spikeless golf shoes have dimples on which give me traction, the trainers he is using are smooth.

It's the extra height you get, every body knows a longer shaft, the longer the hit and the bigger the shoes.............
