After playing like an absolute doughnut in yesterdays medal, the thought of playing again today did not sit well. But I did. Gross 81 even with a quad bogey on the card - 10 shots better than yesterday, typically!! :(

I managed to birdie 3 of our par 3s, including the 9th, which was the closest I've come to an ace!

Okay, so maybe next time for me then.

I played a medal on Saturday and despite parring 3 of the 9 holes on our course I was taking 7s and 8s on the other holes to card a truly dismal round.

Maybe next time eh?

Know the feeling. Played like a doughnut in the club champs and squeezed in today (3rd group out - that low down the field) and shot a PB and finished 6th. Swung worse but had no thoughts or expectations. Made a couple of birdies but never scared the hole for an ace. Never do

Dont you just love tap in birdies.

Hows the Leg holding up Pal....You still getting a bit of stiffness the following morning after a round?

Always next time - that's what makes this game so addictive!

Leg is doing good thanks Kid - get the odd twinge now and again but rarely any stiffness. It's the knee that seems to suffer. How about you?

Ya mine gets pretty stiff a few hours after rounds and the following morning for a bit but loosens up once i get mobile. The knees are shagged with me Pal....

And i reckon that its because of the crutches......There is a hell of a lot of pressure going through the one good leg when your on crutches and something has to give.
