Looking for a bit of help from any home entertainment experts......

We currently have a Sky+ HD box in the lounge with the main TV which has 2 RF-Out lines to a TV in the kitchen and a TV in the main bedroom (It's a bungalow so all rooms ground floor and cable routing relatively straightforward through the loft). These look to be connected with thin coax, maybe 5mm? We use a magic eye and don't want sky multi room etc.

Had a bit of a move around at weekend and have made a different room the main bedroom. So.....ideally I want to create another run of coax from the TV to the new main bedroom but leave the existing connections as-is. The new run will probably be about 18m.

Questions:
As there are only 2 RF-Out on the box would the quality still be OK if I split one of these? (does the signal only deteriorate if both TV's being used simultaneously?)
If that's a "No", would a signal booster sort it?
If it's still looking like it won't be too good then I'd be happy to lose the "old" bedroom connection and plug in the new one direct. Would the extra distance (18m v around 12m) make any significant difference?
Assuming one of the above is a good option, is there a specific Coax type I should be asking for that is better than others?
Finally, is there a better option I should be considering?

Any advice appreciated.

18m is nothing for todays digital coax. You'll be fine.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for being dim on this subject but when you say "digital coax" do you mean the same kind of cable that connects the dish to the Sky box? What I have at present is only about 5mm. Also, what about splitting one RF between two sets? Will it degrade? and then only when both on?
