i know nothing about sky caddie or other makes !!! i was wondering if it is possible to fit them to a stand bag as i dont use a cart anhy more , i much prefer to carry my clubs on my back as i see it a way of keeping fit and have lost 1.5 stone since i stopped using a cart ...

any advice would be much appreciated as i really fancy one of these devices ....

regards

You can get a clip with the skycaddie - which then enables you to clip it on pretty much anything on the bag. If you haven't got any suitable loops or whatever, you can always clip it onto the edge of a slightly open zipped pocket.

Actually, I couldn't remember whether mine came supplied with the belt clip - or whether I bought it separate. Have just checked the skycaddie web site, & they do come supplied with it.

So all you need is a nylon strap with a quick release buckle to go round the bag - (or back to loop/strap/pocket suggestion of above post).

Ps: you'll not regret getting one...

Hippy

I've got the skycaddie 2'5 which comes with a clip thats fits on my standbag no problem.

If you do get one dont lose or break it they are about 2 inches long and cost about seven quid to replace.

Hippy, whats your budget for your GPS?

Why, what you gonna offer Bob???

I'm also seriously considering buying a GPS and have been for a while. You can keep it to PM if you like.

im thinking around the £200. mark

If you can stretch a bit further, £256 will get you this
