Would be a bit embarassing for the powers that be, if they honour him and then something hits the fan.

I agree that he probably will become Sir Colin eventually, but id give it a few months, just in case

I’ll tell you why he should get it. The guy has put his heart and soul onto the RC. Lots of people were not too happy with this appointment and even a good time after that he was still being sniped at time after time. If he didn’t win he would have been lambasted by all and sundry. I genuinely believe he would have gone down in history as the captain that should never have been…………that’s why he should get it.

He should get it for the shot i saw him hit on wedensday on par 3 10th.

As the last group of europeans got to the tee he went up to greet them and got offerd to hit a shot by poulter i think but may be wrong. So he stepped up and hit a completley made a mess of it and it came up atleast 50 yards short of the green but hit a drain cover and bounced up and just rolled past the hole to within about 10 feet. Which he then knocked in for a birdie......with a little bit of help from jimenez's foot.

I must admit leading upto the ryder cup i wasn't his biggest fan but after seeing him person on the wedensday and friday and how much he has put in to this win i'm a big fan of his now.

I was never a great fan until I saw him at a clinic the day after the pics came out. He spoke with such passion and enthusiasm it was impossible to believe in anything other than a win

I'm not fussed either way by him, but as much as I loved watching it and enjoyed all the passion and excitement, all he's done is win a 2 horse race with the odds-on favourite on home soil
