Good grief, the whole program is a shiloh pitt, wise up and stop giving a damn, there are more important things to waste your concern on.

Bring back Sooty and Sweep with Butch the dog as well.

Trumpton and Windy Miller, these were in the days when TV made proper shows!!!

Magic Roundabout - the original.

All age groups could read what they wanted to in it.

Brilliant.

I've still got a Chigley and Camblewick Green LP at my mums from when I was a kid (not sure where the Trumpton one went). It basically has Brian Cant narrating one story per side with the familiar sound effects and sayings. Might be worth a bit now

I've always liked talent shows and a big fan of X factor, until last night  Lucie has more talent in her little finger nail than those two herberts. At the end of the day it's a talent show.

Years ago when my kids were young we took them on holiday to a small holiday camp in Cornwall. There was a talent show, they were all there - kids well schooled in talent contests with their pushy parents, all the gear all the props. But, there was one girl, about 12-14 years old, stood there in just jeans and t'shirt and sung beautifully.
And who won - well the girl of course, because she had TALENT.

X-factor's a complete farce, so I won't bother watching it anymore.

I loved nothing better than Muffin The Mule.... but then it was made illegal! :D

Then there was Captain Pugwash with Roger The Cabin Boy, Seaman Stains and all. ;)

I think the latter was nearer the mark, and if you notice, Stacey's speaking voice was calming down a little. I suspect she's going to be a bit adrift without the others and could well be out soon.

That depends on where you are coming from. For those of us working in the industry (referring to the O.P), it's a shame that a talented singer signs away any chance of doing anything until the X-factor contract expires. I know plenty of folk who would be keen to employ a singer like Lucie.

I'm glad (for one) that a lad I used to help produce never got through to the TV bit......he's gone on to do very well.
Watch this space.

I'm not sure whose side I'm on in this but you have to think of the people who watch the X-Factor I doubt fully grown men had a vote in this and it would usually be children pushing their parents to vote for John and Edward, as obviously their songs are more suited to them.
Still the worst show in the world though...

Its all a show about them, not the acts, they couldnt give a rats ass which they choose , but when there is an angle to generate both silly popularity for those two gimps, and generate frustrations in the viewing public, who will undoubtably follow the show in the hope they will see those two gimps go out in the next round.

It doesnt matter that cowell courts controversy or hypocracy, its all part of the game to generate viewing figures. Everyone should just turn the show off or watch something else when its on, but they wont, just like little sheep, they will have it back on for the reasons I have said as well as through habbit. Cowell and that show has got almost everyone that views it like puppets on strings.
Its all about attention, and Cowell will get it any way he can, and not care.

I didn't watch it but if the publicity in the papers in anything to go by, then Mr Cowell has pulled a master stroke.
TBH i'm sick of reading/hearing about them. :(
