Should i be concerned?

Well in a follow up to my Shaft Comparison thread i decided to re grip my clubs tonight....

I put 3 wraps of tape plus 1 wrap of grip tape on a .60 diameter shaft...
Grips were 0.58 but now they feel nice and comfortable to me......

Only one problem!!!!
I have a shaft sticker that says True Temper Dynamic Gold S300..... Nothing out of the ordinary you say and you would be right...
But when i ripped the old grips and cleaned the shaft i was surprised to find the following.....

2014-02-17 20.01.59.jpg

2014-02-17 20.33.22.jpg

The white sticker on the shaft reads "GS CLUB"....No clue what this means...

The second is a photo of some print i found on each shaft after i had taken the old grip off.....

I hope that their not what i think they are...As i might have been better off not knowing that the were in fact DG SL 300's that i was using and not proper DG S300's....Really annoyed either way...:confused:

What does the DGISL-300 denote?

I would think that the 37 is a reference to the tip diameter...

DG is for Dynamic Gold..

I... Im at a loss for

SL... I hope doesnt stand for Superlite

Nicked from a post on wrx:

DG= Dynamic Gold
I =Iron
S =Flex (Will read R, S or X)
L = Taper Tip
300 = Weight (100,200,300 or 400)

Dynamic Gold SL Taper = DGISL300 SL

NO need to worry Kid

No you have what you expected an S300 and not a super light. It's as far as I remember how they denote a Long version of that shaft.
Haven't looked through as it's a bit of a trawl but you could probably find some more info on here: http://www.truetempe...pID=26&CDpath=6

Cheers Pal..
Hopefully the grip change will be enough to see a difference in the flight..... I still liked the Rifle flighted but i will be with my mate again tomorrow night at the range so i can compare them again with the same thickness grips anyway at least and see if they were enough to see a change..
