Should golf be more judgemental?

Reading through the winter Olympics thread it seems to me that there is a line of thought that sports should not be judged and we should exclude jumping events ice dancing etc.

Perhaps we have this the wrong way round and in golf and other sports after the round has finished the competitors should be judged on the aesthetics of their round and the two scores added together.
It would make for more compelling viewing as we would not know if the final putt was to win it or merely be a top ten finish as we wouldn't now how the judges marked your efforts on the course.

It would punish Brysons horrible angular swing and Seve would have won far more with his artistic recoveries. a particularly skill full up and down would get a few more points than a standard fairway and middle of the green finder.
Maybe something that LIV could trial as a separator?

Swing style marks, great news for Adam Scott, Justin Rose etc, bad for Bryson et al.

Broom handle putters bringing big negative marks..........

You could do a funny comedy skit for it.
Tyrell could be in a bit of trouble if you lose marks for offensive language.

I reckon Scottie could win the open and Strictly come dancing the same weekend

We could always do our own awards?
As it’s your idea you can decide the categories.
Just don’t ask Will Smith to attend
Worst last round by a player leading after round 3
Largest number of different caddies in a year
Biggest drop in World Rankings for the year
Highest total score by a player in all 4 Majors added together

Give me more time and I might think of more of these.

If the final score was based on how nice your swing looked, my handicap would go from 9 to 30.

However, if you were given extra points for how complex a swing is (thus making it harder to hit a ball), my handicap would go from 9 to -5.

I genuinely don’t know what I’ve just read 🤣

The amount of judgemental mentality in golf across clubs worldwide is already more than enough. I’d prefer to make a case for removing judgement of people in golf and focus more on enjoying it but then I’m just weird 😎
Have you ever played 18 holes with 50-year-old clubs and enjoyed it?
Would you like to give it a try?
You don't have to be weird, but it might help.
