Shooting your age

Had a very good result yesterday and it has just dawned on me - I shot my age!!

Back in February I came within one shot of it but yesterday I shot the same score BUT, I've had a birthday since then.

Nice one! Quite an achievement. I can't realistically expect to do that for another 45 years at least! Or 10 years if I'm playing 9 holes.

I hope I am still playing golf in 14 years time to a similar standard. That is probably about the only time I am likely to achieve that.

Mind you if I am still playing golf in 4 years time I will be a happy fella.

We had a guy who did it in a comp at the age of 86. Everyone was so pleased for him.
