The older you get the better chances of doing it. The only time I am likely to have done it is on a par 3 nine hole course.:LOL:

Of course. Bogey at the 1st, then a run of pars and roll a long birdie in on 7 to get to level par. Make a decent par down 8 and then hit an ideal 3 wood down the left of 9 (tight driving hole).

Caught my gap wedge a bit heavy and it plops into a front bunker. Probably a 30 yard shot to the back pin. Obviously I'm thinking get it back there to have a putt at par. Blade it through the back, into some hay / nettles / gorse. A place where no machine has been for many years. Never saw it again. Played the bunker shot again, splashed out to the front of the green and 2 putted for a 7.

Nearest I came was a 72 when I was mid 60's.
Great effort by anyone who manages that.
My friends father retired at 67 at 8 handicap and got down to 3 in two years, he would regularly shoot his age up until his 90's.
