Possibly looking for some new shoes but also looking for a bargain if possible. I have some 'normal' shoes so looking for something a bit sportier or in a louder colour (used to love my old Footjoy LTs in white and lime green). Nothing is leaping on the sites I usually use (Direct Golf, Online Golf, Just Golf Online) so looking for recomendations. And before we anyone suggests it, not looking to splash out on myjoys and ideally want somewhere that can deliver quickly as would like them by Thursday morning.

Thanks in advance for the help.

GB, you only had a new pair the week before Luton, are you Homer in disguise ;)

True but I like to have more than one pair and a couple of my older pairs have finally given up and died. Plus got a small bonus at work and felt like something a little bit different.

Quite liking the look of the Gleneagles on the Redfire site but not sure I have the guts to wear them.

Snainton Golf are doing some Footjoys on the cheap. They've got Reelfit Contours at £50 and Dryjoys at £64.
also some deals on Nike and Adidias too.
Might be worth a look.

I was certainly attracted to the idea of having something totally different at the price of some mid range Footjoys. Will email them when I get back from the club today to see if they can deliver by Wednesday night so as I have them for the Charity day on Thursday then they might well have a sale.

I am sure if they have your size in stock that you would be able to get them in time. Let me know how it goes.

Can you get down to your local pro shop? I always buy mine from a shop and they'll always match any price you find online and you can take them away there and then.

And your Pro will appreciate the business.

My pro will not discount or price match and only stocks fairly bland footjoys so he will not get my business this time. Have sent an email about the gleneagles and can only hope they can deliver in time

why not go the whole hog and get a pair of MY-JOYS then you can have what ever you like and stand out from the crowd i am a boring old git and wear ecco classics i have 3 pairs and they are the best shoe on the market.

I was looking for something smart and new to wear on Thursday so Myjoys would not have been an option as they would not get here in time.

There are some pretty lary designs on the redfire site but they do look good though. Not sure even I'd have the bottle for the pink and white ones although I'd definitely give the Gelneagles a bash.

Not yet, had a few problems with their payment system and there are a few emails going back and forth trying to sort out a technical hitch. If I cannot sort in time then they may be on the Xmas list instead but I will certainly be investing in some in the future as I like the styles and I like having something a bit different.

Plus, the cheapskate in me is having trouble seeing past the deal that Imurg pointed out. £49 delivered for a pair of Footjoy Contours with the BOA lacing system is pretty good.

Will sort it all out tomorrow and make a final decision.
