the QE11 bridge Dartford crossing was supposed to be toll free once it was paid for ,but no ,they sold the bloody thing to the frogs and they just keep charging .bloody rip off Britain again.

Strange. Whenever I plan a route which will take me over either the Tay Bridge or Forth Road Bridge my TomTom asks if I want to avoid the toll routes. (Both are up to date.)

They weren't (at least Forth Road Bridge one wasn't) in 2000-2002 when I was there, nor in 2007 when I went back!

All Scottish bridges have been toll free since 2008

Odd, I had a GoLive820 just replaced with a 5100 and neither showed it as a toll.

I'm just back from playing at Gullane and TomTom only asked if I wanted to avoid toll roads on the northbound direction which was the side the toll booths were on. Similarly on the Tay Bridge I'm asked if I want to avoid toll roads when travelling south but not north.
