Service seems to vary from branch to branch. I have always found the staff at the Basingstoke branch very helpful and knowledgable, but less so at the Topgolf Watford branch.
Are they the winter boots you've ordered?Another excellent service from the lads in AG Coventry this morning, they didn't have the deal that's online with the Callaway Chrome Soft at £49.99 for 24 so they did it for me anyway and then I produced my £10 voucher so got them for £40
They've then ordered specially in for me the Adidas Boa boots with a healthy discount, so again, I can't speak highly enough of the Coventry branch

Yes, more for my SkyCaddie mapping over the winter which can be in horrendous conditions when no other sane person would dare to be out on a course, but we areIf I like them and they're comfortable I might try them to play in.

Like every chain it just comes down to the individual store, and the person who actually serves you.
I totally dislike the London store next to London Bridge. Went twice, and I don't not rate them high. It feels unfriendly and a little snobby. Northold superstore on the other hand I find excellent. It's a little out of my way but I don't mind the extra drive to get there if avoiding the rush hour.
I can make similar cases for and against certain Evans cycle store branches, my local Morrison's supermarket, the Tesco next to work, ...
Cheers. I wouldn't call that playing golf yet, but I am using the range at Dukes Meadow. I have just started to get most of my balls into the air now so soon plan to actually play some golf. The girlfriend is slightly behind in the learning curve so I need to wait a little. Dukes Meadows itself and Richmond Park are going to be the obvious places to then start, I think.Welcome along. You make a good point and there can be a variance in service in many chains of stores. Where do you play your golf?
