Looking at Garcia's body language at the moment, he looks like a man who doesn't love golf. Perhaps retirement is on the horizon?

I hope Ernie isn't finished as I base a lot of my game including my swing on the big guyNever.
I love the way folk concentrate on him and not the biggest man who's game is finished....Ernie Els.
It kept him in what? The guy is a knob.Fantastic birdie just kept him in it...

The man is finished as a winner and has been for a while.
Do you think he would have become a different player if he had held on to win the Open at Carnoustie in 2007? I think that really knocked the stuffing out of him.
It is a shame but he is such a long way from the exuberant teenager running up the fairway and leaping to see where that amazing recovery shot finished in the US PGA. Just checked to see when that was - 1999, was it really that long ago? It is a shame that maybe he will go down as a player who never fully fulfilled his talent. I'd love to see him find a putting stroke that worked and win a major, as I think would many golf fans.
As for Ernie, he's in a different place. He's 41, he's won 3 majors and has had a great career. Not many players go on winning regularly into their 40's or win majors. He also has family to think about, especially his son who has autism. He won't be the player he was in his prime but that's sport. Time moves on, bodies grow old, the hunger diminishes, other things become important and a new generation comes along.
Sergios posture is bloody awful. I cant understand with all the people around him why someone hasn't said anything. far too upright and far too much flex in the knees. Surely those alone would fug up your swing.
