We have a good senior fiddle at our club and have a stableford comp,played every Thursday April through October,best 15 results to count for overall winner on a points basis 12 points for weekly winner 10 for second and so on until down to one point.,this comp.is played ever week.
Last year we introduced an Eclectic comp.run every other week in conjunction with the stableford comp.playing a double header every other week and on that day the results count for both comps,last year one person won both comps and it looks like the same will be repeated this year..not much point in introducing a new comp if same person is going to win both every year...I think this is inevitable the way we run these comps in conjunction with each other.
As anyone had a similar experience or what is the best answer please to give everyone a chance to win one or the other comp....
