second ever birdie! had chance for 3 others tho

Played my new home course today upton after signing up to become a member managed to get paired with another member and submit my
first card towards my handicap

Was very nevous and shanked my first tee shot, managed to settle down and play to my normal ability cpl holes stood out as bad ones scoring 11

The good holes a very short par 4 i drove it striat and landed cpl yards short of the green bump and run past the hole leaving 15ft for birdie had good line if id hit it hard enough but fell short and bagged par

130yd par3 best pitching wedge i hit stoped 10ft from the flag and missed birdie by agin being short tapped in for par

Another par 3 took my 3hybrid and landed ball 15ft from hole only change was i sunk the putt for a 2!!!

Just a cpl of bad holes stopped me breaking 100 for the second time, bar that i loved the course and the people there, everyone i spoke to where nothing but friendly, really excited about my future golfing!

Only 2 moree cards to go before I get my first HC

Ive played upton a few times now, its a nice course, tight in places though!

Let us know if you ever need anyone to go for a knock with, all my mates are boring so I play ellesmere port quite alot by myself

Im literlly round the corner, well about 3 corners and im just as mad about golf as you seem!!
