Or everyone that has been hoarding brand new Scotty putters from trading at AG, suddenly their eBay margins have just increased slightly

I ordered 5 on Friday just before they went up haha, but then have a few more sets of irons to be delivered so this will mess with my calculations, hence my unhappiness.

I noticed this the other day in one of the shops in Inverness, Ive got 5 and never paid more than £200 for any of them, so a big increase in th last couple of years.

Obviously buying iron sets on ebay cheap, then sell the putters for profit.

There is no more overrated brand in golf for me than Scotty Cameron.

I agree. They are fine putters, no doubt but I think there are equally as good putters there cheaper.

All to do with the exchange rate with regards to price increases. As for Scotty being over rated, that's just personal opinion, and no different to buying any other clubs. You go for what works best for you, or what you like, there is no real right or wrong. With regards the cost, they are no more expensive than other putters

Odyssey even more over priced in my opinion, will stick with my 5 year old Scotty all day long.

nope, no intention of selling 4 of them... like to sell the 2.7 as its the one i don't use. when i d i might relpace it with another one anyway

Very hard to quantify "overrated" especially with a brand that clearly is used by a lot of Amatuers and Pros alike even more so when a putter is so personal to someone. I moved from a TM Spider to a Scotty 18 months ago and it improved my putting - the touch and the feel of them far outstrip any other putter that i have used.

My putter still looks brand new because the build quality on them is also superb - they are popular for a reason and being so popular is very hard to see how they can be overrated
