Put them up to £299 each, thought it was just american golf but looking around seems to be everywhere. Pretty unhappy with it haha. Already very expensive.

most used club in the bag. but somehow it's fine to pay 300 plus for a driver that I may use 10 or 11 times a round. but my scotty was overpriced at 250.

I noticed this the other day in one of the shops in Inverness, Ive got 5 and never paid more than £200 for any of them, so a big increase in th last couple of years.

People keep running out that line but how many times do you need the technology in any putter from less than a foot..? Which, I would guess is where at least a third of putts are taken from..
You could use anything from there - don't need to spend 100 quid on it.

and you could get round a course with a 10 year old driver for 20 quid. what's your point?

Have the irons not went up as well. I was looking at some AP2s a few weeks ago and I'm sure they were £699. Looking around a few sites yesterday they were all showing as £749.

I think scotty has got wrapped up in filling his putters with the latest 'tech'.

He should make two lines. Modern tech filled and classic type updates.

Was speaking to my local pro and he said that with the poor dollar rate, motocaddys will be going up £50.

Can only assume the same for scottys

Must be good news for anybody looking to sell on their used scotty. Winner all round I'd say.

Agreed, the fanboys will tell you that they're the bees knees.
More likely that it's a confidence thing, but they're certainly no better than other top brand putters.

plenty of equally expensive putters out there
