Scottish Fitba'

Nancy needs to be sacked asap if we are to have any chance of winning this league.

Knowing how pig headed and incompetent our board is, they will let him carry on until the end of January, by which time the league will be gone and it’s too late for his replacement to sign the new blood we desperately need.

So the absolute worst that will happen is celtic don't win another league title this year?

Does anyone really see a problem with that (even celtic fans) they really can't win them all, that's not the definition of a competitive league

Reporting goes that Clarke is open to calling up Harvey Barnes into the Scotland squad. Do it Clarke, and I hope Barnes says Yes - I’m up for it. Play in the World Cup? Why wouldn’t you.

I’d suggest that that is kinda not the point for Celtic fans…for if Celtic are not to win it then there’s a risk that Rangers do…and that would take the biscuit - especially given how bad Rangers have been.

Because you feel no allegiance to that country?

Barnes can make a professional choice, say yes, or a personal choice, say no. If he felt Scottish, he'd have been playing for Scotland for a number of years by now.

This has all came about because Rodgers told them the squad wasn't good enough and the de facto owner went to war with him. This shambles is going to end up costing a fortune.
If we get O'Neil in until the end of the season now I'd doubt that they'll spend any real money in January.
Spot on

I see Rangers and Celtic are after any half decent SPL player during the transfer window.
Keeps the west coast press busy and unsettles the opposition players even though nothing usually comes of it.

I was fully expecting Nancy to be sacked after the Motherwell game. The fact that he hasn't has left me with a sense of dread about the outcome of the game against Rangers. I've never felt less confident even back in the 90s. For the gamblers amongst you Rangers -2 goals is 18/1. I think that's free money.

He is absolutely not getting sacked any time soon, including if Celtic lose again tomorrow.

He is gonna get this transfer window to get some players in and then probably the rest of this season to see how it goes.

Celtic win all day long. It’s a case of least worst wins and that’s Celtic.

Same as they have always done…other than perhaps during the ‘big spending’ pre-Sevco years - and even then they’d sometimes buy good SPL players and plonk them on the bench.

I'm 100% right, it's ultra clear the board are gonna back their man for the foreseeable.
Results will ultimately dictate that. How many more games can he afford to lose? So far he's beaten an Aberdeen team with 10 men for half the game and bottom of the league Livingston. Had a good spell against Hearts and Dundee United.
The team are playing like 11 fans that won a prize to play in the team.

Celtic can at least look good and pretty fluid going forward…leaving poor old Trusty minding the shop as the rest of the defence and midfield goes gallivanting forward. Not seen a similar fluidity from Rangers…though they are maybe a bit better organised defensively. But I’d be betting on Rohl over Nancy. So Rangers.

Btw…is it Nancy (pronounced phonetically) or Nauncee?

Rangers have conceded 2 fewer goals (league form) than Celtic so hardly significant.

Celtic have scored more so as I say, least worst wins.
