Scottish Fitba'

Sourness insisted on a shirt and a pair of boots as well as being manager.

George McCluskey is still grateful to this day that Souness was wearing moulded stud boots...

Schadenfreude is not a healthy emotion to hold...however...no - I mustn't.

I believe that most decent and reasonable fans of other Scottish clubs know that it is important for Scottish football to have strong Rangers and Celtic teams able to compete successfully in Europe...otherwise the opportunities for the rest become ever more limited...and at the moment the OF are both way off that mark.

And so despite how I might otherwise feel, I hope that they both find a good way forward - but not until Hearts have won the league this year.😘

Aye, a thug on the field. Seen worse than that from him, including when playing for Scotland.
Thankfully Billy Stark saw him coming or he could easily have broken at least one of his legs.

And to think what Big Dunc got the jail for, Souness would still be attending parole hearings trying to get out...

Enjoy it while it lasts. Much as I would love ❤️s to win the league. It won’t happen.
Celtic will open their cash pot when they need to.

Thing is, whilst that’ll probably be true I’m not so confident they’ll actually strengthen given the recruitments track record of late.

Can’t remember last time I’ve actually thought hearts are favourite this weekend, they’ve definitely a better attacking threat and arguably a better set up and manager just now.

Over the course of the rest of the season Celtic should still be able to get it over the line but if there’s ever a year for someone else to do it it’s hearts this year.

AngeP for Rangers? Really? Can't see it...but given the twists and turns of the Rangers managerial hunt who knows - well the truthful answer to that question is..nobody knows.

So who's the next contestant on Who Wants to be a Rangers First Team Coach? Keith Chegwin? Or maybe Prince Andrew will go all-in on the career change front...
As much chance of Rangers getting Walter Smith as Keith Chegwin…sadly for the same reason.

Watched the Rangers Review podcast last night on this and the two guys on it were baffled, dismayed and at times quite literally speechless - they could not find the words to fully and adequately describe how they saw the current situation…catastrophic and farcical being two they could find.

Meanwhile over the other side of the city…I must go see what the guys of 20min Tims podcast think on their club’s situation. I’m guessing that the thoughts will be similar.
