He’s turned them down in the past, when he was at Aberdeen.
I think there is some confusion happening here. Gerrard turned them down last night. McInnes has not (might not even have been asked at this stage)

Gerrard has turned down Rangers twice and McInnes turned down Rangers in 2017 when Pedro Caixinha was sacked.
Scotland really need to push on.

That was how it started but the references to McInnes were about him turning down Rangers in the past. Whether he is asked this time and turns them down again, or he is overlooked because of his past snub or because there are other candidates in the frame, who knows...
And I only replied to correct your statement re. McInnes HAS turned Rangers down, albeit in the past. Your original reply made no reference to timescales

There are also reports that Dyche has said he's not interested in the vacancy at Rangers, but no idea if that's accurate or one of those lives across the road from his window cleaner type of rumour.

Another awful performance, god knows how we managed to win the last two games.
Job done, but that was painful, massive improvement needed for Greece away and Denmark at home next month.

OMG - that was utterly not good at all...but at least Scott McTominey knew it, and admitted it in interview. The win was important, but my goodness - Scotland have surely got to be able to be better than that.
The only bigger shambles in Scottish football at the moment than the last 40 minutes of the Scotland game is the Rangers recruitment of a new manager, I can smile at one of these. But maybe I could smile at both if the new Rangers manager was called Steve Clarke - though it won't be. BTW - I've always been OK with Clarke but the last two games have really stretched that OK'ness to breaking point.
