Scottish Fitba'

As much as I’d otherwise be keen for the Staggies to stay in the SPL…good for football fans up north…they were woeful yesterday…made an almost equally woeful StJ look almost OK. Me and my lad travelled up for the game with hope…we got the win but it was nerve shredding.🤪

Last day battle for relegation.
Looks like the SPL will be weakened as non of the projected 3 prompted clubs look stronger then the 3 projected relegated clubs.
Plus another two possible plastic pitches

StJ have sold all of their allocation for the Hearts game...so maybe 1500. A great support for the team. Given no win at Tynecastle since 2019 and no win anywhere against Hearts since 2022...will be an excellent time to break that run.

Ah well. It’s been coming since 2021…completely mismanaged from the top down…besides we have been awful this season 😔.

But I can smile at the tragi-comedic nature of the closing lines of the final act…we score an absolute screamer of a free kick to claw back into game…to be dumped out of the league by a highly dubious penalty for RC in the 96th minute….🤷‍♂️🤣

At least we don’t have to bother about VAR and the BBs for a bit

The size of the support is actually not that bad for Perth and Perthshire - especially given the ‘influence’ of the BBs across the whole country - same as it ever was and ever shall be 😘
That’s it, blame Rangers and Celtic for your local team having a poor support.
My brother is a Rangers fan who lives in Dingwall. He has a Ross County season ticket to support the local team. More Perth folk needed like that. They’ll need cash to get back up.

Or blaming…it’s just a fact. Nice idea though, but Perth is a bit closer to Glasgow than Dingwall, and maybe Perthshire folks don’t have the money to buy a season ticket for a team they don’t really support. It’s a nice thought though.

Aberdeen player injured by Aberdeen fan throwing part of a seat at him.
Hells teeth, how crazy is that as it was thrown from the Fair Play Stand.

Update.......Police have traced the thrower and he has been charged. (y)
