I wonder what the Rangers fans think about the possibility of Gerrards return.

Never go back is generally a good motto but things seem to have worked out well for Rodgers at Celtic.

Not sure why folk are getting all misty-eyed about him coming back. His record at Rangers wasn't great, 1 domestic trophy from 9, winning the league in the Covid season, when Celtic totally imploded under Lennon. His subsequent jobs at Villa and Saudi didn't go very well either.

They were unbeaten I believe through the whole season

I'm not sure if Stevie G will be capable of repeating his remarkable achievements from his first spell in charge. Not so long ago it was revealed that Beale was the tactical genius behind that amazing team they put together.

Sadly for Scottish football, it's going to be that way for years. Celtic will hit 10 in a row this time, the doom loop is too far gone.

Celtic should be able to win several more league titles in a row, but if we rest on our laurels it could rapidly change.
A few of the recent leagues were won by 7 points twice and 4 points the other.. Not exactly blowing rangers away..... And that's with rangers being pretty piss poor..
If celtic were to ( will prob will this summer or next) lose maeda and not replace with another quality player that would even things up a bit.
We need to keep on investing and not just do enough to win the league and no more.
Who knows what will happen when Brendan leaves next season...

I always think there's only one or two transfer windows away from it changing. The season Rangers won the league they had signed some decent players, Celtic hadn't and probably more damaging was hanging onto players that just didn't want to be there.
Although Celtic won the league easily the head to heads against Rangers came out in their favour. I do think Rodgers is a better manager than Gerrard though so if he stays and gets backing with transfers it should keep Celtic on top.
