Was he worse than that White character?Charles Green. What a charlatan he was!
Who spent 50m? It sure wasn’t Rangers as they were totally insolvent. Think it was 3.9p in the pound creditors got when they went bust. Was he worse than that White character?
Rangers could do with the 50 million wasted on the malicious prosecutions of the characters involved in “running” Rangers.
I can understand Green and his lackey being prosecuted as - just like Whyte - there was a perception they were lining their own pockets, but what was the rationale for arresting the administrators?![]()
Malicious Prosecution Scandal: Victim payouts to exceed £60m
The payouts in the malicious prosecution scandal are set to exceed £60 million. The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service has allocated £60.5m for cases in connection to people involves in the acquisition and administration of Rangers Football Club.www.scottishlegal.com
I'd be amazed if an NFL owner was interested in Scottish football. The NFL is a money printing machine and those guys are used to having huge profits every year. No way they would plough money into something that isn't going to give them a return, they are all capitalists that only see profit as the end goal.Even if there was a huge amount of money injected the top players would still not come to play in Scotland. If they did, it would be as a stepping stone to a better league.
It might be true but I don't think it's going to be what the Rangers fans think it will be.
Probably shut us down. Again! It might be true but I don't think it's going to be what the Rangers fans think it will be.
Your first paragraph might be true. The 49ers own Leeds. They are not big spenders. In the summer they spent 32m euros, and brought in 162m euros.
They didn't buy anyone in January. If they do take over Rangers, they won't be throwing money at them. It's more likely they will become a feeder club for Leeds.
Perhaps the plan is for Rangers to become the feeder club for Leeds. The 49ers own Leeds. They are not big spenders. In the summer they spent 32m euros, and brought in 162m euros.

Or the other way round.Perhaps the plan is for Rangers to become the feeder club for Leeds.
Probably not, Leeds in the EPL starts to turnover serious money.Or the other way round.![]()
Only because of TV revenue and sponsorship. Rangers (& Celtic etc) are not benefiting from that.Probably not, Leeds in the EPL starts to turnover serious money.
well that's not changing anytime soon.Only because of TV revenue and sponsorship. Rangers (& Celtic etc) are not benefiting from that.
Celtic and Rangers get nowhere near the TV revenue that their games shown on TV deserve.well that's not changing anytime soon.
Celtic and Rangers get nowhere near the TV revenue that their games shown on TV deserve.
Their away games are on tv every week and get good audiences no doubt.
But, they only get a slice of a paltry deal because it is an spfl contract with Sky.
If clubs could negotiate their own deals that could make a huge difference.
