Both penalties (still well behind Celtic) and scored in 5. 😂
But it was 1-0 to Hearts when the ref incredibly added on 9 minutes. And a blatant push on a hearts player was unbelievably given as a foul to Rangers, directly leading to the second pen.

You've got to laugh.

Aye, whatever. 😂
Had Kyogo recovered from his amazing dive last week?

Another manager gone at St. Johnstone. Wonder if they have someone lined up to take over?
Very unlikely.

The departure is quite possibly down to recognition of the great service Steve MacLean and his assistant Liam Craig have given the club over the years. Put them out of their misery when their dedication to the club would have them plough on.

Fans forums frankly haven’t a clue who might realistically consider us, and the only name that appears regularly that isn’t a player who’s tried management and totally failed; isn’t past it and all washed up; or who are thought wouldn’t be up for the challenge and so wouldn’t even give Saints a first look never mind a second, is perhaps Robbie Neilson.

The club is bottom of the league, quite possibly the 2nd best team in Perth (Jeanfield Swifts could well beat them at the moment); up for sale; rudderless and leaderless.

We are probably doomed for automatic relegation whatever and whoever, so maybe look to start rebuilding things now for next season in the championship. So maybe the Airdrie lad?

But there are +ves about St Johnstone.

People under-estimate the set up IMO. Can comfortably pay multiple players 6 figure yearly salaries, have a 10k+ stadium, have 3 training pitches at our stadium and over £3m in the bank, which we've shown a trusted manager can have access to.

Any takers? 🙁

At some stage a club [such as St Johnstone] has to take a risk on Martindale.
He has done an amazing job at Livi but his past seems to be a big hinderance.
Neilson is the other obvious candidate

Martindale is being mentioned in dispatches...usually in context of rumoured big financial issues at Livi. Maybe if he could be allowed, or let himself, to focus on football and put aside all things and works associated with his past (as admirable as that work is) then maybe he could drag the team out of the quicksand it is in.
