Same day different courses

These first two photos were taken during my round at Gailes Links on Sunday morning, just a tad breezy, did see a rainbow though - just






A few hours later and further inland I took this one, should be easily recognised, but you can have a guess anyway. One of my all time favourite courses.

I played with one of their Pro's there and Parr'd the 1st and ended up beating him 2 and 1 🤣

My abiding memory of the first on the Kings course was the very first time I played it or any "better" course for that matter. My mate was through the back of the green, chipped on, not realising the greens were much much quicker than we were used to. The pin was in the middle part of the green, the ball was picking up speed as it passed the pin and disappeared off the front and down the hill. He wasn't best pleased as we laughed :rofl:

Exactly what happened to me 4 weeks ago That chip from back left of the green is basically impossible. I played it as well as I could have wished and still ended up off the front of the green.

My playing partners enjoyed it too....

Last time I played there I was just myself and got paired up with three guys and had the same chip...... easy up and down!
