Sad News

Hi guys,

I may not be around on the forum much the next few days, my mam passed away this afternoon, alzheimers finally took its toll. In the end though, I'd like to think she knew me and my dad were with her, it was all very peaceful and quiet.

I know how you're feeling mate, my father in law died on Wednedsay and we're in bits. Stay strong, take all the offers of help if you need it and grieve in your own time, it's all you can do.

My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
I was with my grandmother when she passed quietly away after suffering from dementia for several years.
It's becoming a bigger and bigger issue as we live longer.

I feel for you. My Mother passed away a year tomorrow, she had suffered with Dementia for a few years but managed to get to 94. I think of her every day.
