Ryder Cup 2025 - All matters

As a hater of build ups and after-play disections I'm glad it's almost time to start...
The inane chat in the days before an event like this leave me ice cold...I know some, maybe most, like it but......
Get on with the action..... 👍

Couldn't be much easier for McIlroy and Fleetwood on paper.
The other games more evenly balanced.
Predicting USA 2.5 1.5 EUR after the first session
Hmmm, I would have liked to see Mc and Tommy be paired with the best putters
As good as they are, I think their putting is the weakest part of their game.
If they aren’t at their very best on the green, then their partnership could do less well than expected.

This with bells on.
I can watch old Ryder cups but having 2 blokes sitting there talking about what might happen for hours doesn’t float my boat.
It’s the same with the majors now, I guess it’s sky trying to get us excited.

Fortunately I have the ability as a grown adult that when I put the sky golf channel on I can turn it off 😂

Noisy for Rahm, quiet for De Chambeau. What a lovely crowd🙄
It’s not different in Europe when we host. I was there for the opening tee shot in Paris and it was exactly the same.

This is what the Ryder cup is now with partisan crowds the players just have to learn to get on with it or the officials need to step in.

Don’t dispute it! Not saying it wasn’t expected, but sad all the same.

Being in the rough looks like almost no penalty at all. Quite the opposite of Rome.

I don’t think a golf course should ever be setup in such a way but I do understand it.

Also… Preferred Lies… Again. Reminder me why us hackers are never allowed them?

Looking at the course set up I reckon I would find it easier from the rough than the fairway.

Going to be a lot of birdies especially in four balls.

Everytime the commentators say it’s a really tough shot the player knocks it to a gimmee, it’s like what they are talking about is different to what my eyes are seeing
