One person who hasn't been mentioned is Francesco Molinari who has been in decent form all year in the US. He has the benefit of being very straight off the tee and a great iron player so ideal for foresomes. Also not a rookie.

I think Knox and Kymer should be picked and either Westwood or Molinari for the last place.

Sadly Shane Lowery is not in great from and as they fould last time when picking Poulter the RC is not a place to try to get back on track.

I'll put my hands up and say I mentioned FM previously in this thread. Knox really has to go now it's a no brainer. I wonder if DC has already picked his wildcards though or whether there is a message out there that it's all to play for until the end of August. I seem to remember Eduardo Molinari playing out of his skin right until the very end to get into Monty's team and hope we have something similar this year. That way we'd also see how much the Kaymers, Westwoods , Lowrys etc really want it !!

Knox doesn't intend to play again before the team comes out but I do wonder if he's tempted to enter the Wyndham to try and secure an automatic place.

Wouldn't surprise me if DC has already made the suggestion to him. I'm sure he'd rather an inform player like Knox qualified by right rather than someone who has gone off the boil after a good early season.
