Great win last night at the travellers to join a select group of "two time" winners this season.

He's just outside the Ryder cup team on the world points list and apparently isn't playing again until after the teams are announced.

He's a definite pick, for me, probably along with kaymer and Westwood. To be honest, I don't see anyone else with a stronger case for inclusion. But what will DC do?

He's had a great season, is experienced playing in the US and is on form so I hope he gets picked.

The worry is there's already a lot of rookies qualified and DC might want to back up with seasoned RC heads. I hope not

I think he would be a good pick as he has played pretty much all his pro golf in the US and has exp of their tour.

reckon Shane Lowry might get a pick as well

Knox is currently the six highest European in the world rankings (18th after last night).

With that in mind, and the fact that he's had such a good season and is comfortable in the US, it would be a bold decision not to pick him in favour of someone lower down the rankings.

As the so called home of golf, Scotland has had a dearth of top golfers for a long long time it feels, with a climate and golf participation levels similar to Irelands you'd think we could produce more good golfers like they've done. Knox seems to be at least someone we can pin a saltire to and say we have a very good golfer now.
Be good for the lad to get a RC pick but it backfired last time with Gallagher, who seemed overawed. Experience does matter a lot in RC I think but you have to start somewhere.

Would pick him for these reasons.

Think the last wildcard spot is between him and Lowry

Lowry has shown he can work well with a few of the guys already picked in pairs and I think that might get him the nod at the moment

I think he'll take Westwood... They're best mates after all!!!

Shouldn't really come into it but it will IMO

He will take Westwood because he will provide valuable experience and has played well in the majors

In the past players like Faldo , Seve and Monty have been picked because of that exact reason and when there is already a good number of rookies then the more experience the better

For me Westwood and Kaymer are certain picks and nothing to do with being mates

He's certainly made it very difficult for DC to leave him out.
I think Lowry has blown his chances now. His form has been patchy at best over the last month or so.
Westwood and Kaymer plus, probably, Knox now

That's my thinking too. Lowry was looking good a wee while back but Knox is the man in form now.

Certainly he's showing good results so I'd put him ahead of Westwood and, on present form, even ahead of Rory !
