One other compliment regarding the game, the standard of place kicking was exceptional today. 9 conversions made out of 10 attempts, most were closed to the edge of the pitch. Crazy standard that is often taken for granted.

A question for those that know these things, how come in the Autumn Series it seems that the away sides sometimes play in their traditional colours and the home sides change into ‘away’ kit?
SA were wearing theirs yesterday and Ireland played in white - today Argentina are in traditional blue and white and England are in black.

In Rugby the home team normally change their kit if their is a kit clash

It is also a marketing thing. Not going to sell those away shirts for Xmas if they never wear them.
Also with England there is no clash in the 6 nations or against most of the southern hemisphere teams. Argentina is the only time they really need to wear them.

He only spotted the one by us that weren't.
Currys tackle was fine, made to look worse by looking at slow motion replays
Yup. He was committed to the tackle. How they expect you to bail out when you have started the process is beyond me. Slow mo makes it look like Carreras was going to need an air ambulance.

Rugby officiating has gone mad. Too much emphasis on player safety and the TMO chiming in every 2 minutes is a joke.

It is a physical and dangerous sport and we need to embrace that rather than mitigate it.

Needs a good long ban for that bit of idiocy.

Bit of a nothing game though wasn’t it? We were always too powerful for them and it turned into a bit of a training run.

Feel for the Welsh. Everything is stacking up against them at the moment and a 6 Nations wooden spoon is definitely on the cards again.

No idea why they planned the game, unless it was simply money. They knew their best players would be absent and even if it was the same for S Africa, the depth there meant it would still be one sided.

The Welsh players were steam rollered, fans utterly deflated. Only negatives for the Welsh, after a mixed autumn where some positives could be found. Bad decision.

I heard it said just before the game that is was a game that had been put back from COVID times. I suspect contractual reasons were why it was played now, out of the autumn international window.
