Okay it was only a friendly four ball round Dunbar east links, but to start with an eagle, hold it to get out in two under. Par the next 7 into the wind, to then blow it with a bogie 5 at 17, after a three stab, then a double bogie 6 after going through the last green in two....what could have been.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy with that for sure but it’s what brings you back I suppose.

 Bite your hand off for that mate, scratch golf. Well played.

It's a tough life for us mere mortals dreaming of being off scratch. How I'd love for that to be my problem of the day. :) :) :)

Well done for the scratch golf, I keep dreaming :)

I know you threw a few shots away on the last two holes, but I am sure if you looked at the other 16 you could find a couple of holes that were better than they should have been. So all in all great shooting especially if the wind was as bad as it was up in East Kilbride today.

Cheers guys, Im playing some the best golf of my life right now. Can still play total crap the odd time just to remind me this game can bite your ar$e. In saying that I know some guys who cant play any more, they would love to be playing crap. I genuinely feel lucky to be playing at a decent level but I have worked hard at my game the last couple of years and to be at the lowest HC I’ve ever been in my life at my age cant be too bad I suppose. Onwards and upwards.
