I'm having a thunk.
Which hurts on a Sunday morn.
It goes something like this.
Everyone that knows about golf says that Rory has the most fantastic swing.
Tiger has spent the last ten years with everyone saying that he has the most fantastic swing.
But now Tiger has hit his troubles, his head dipping, body churning swing is causing him to loose form big time. When he plays well and his swing works he is magnificent.
But now his swing has deserted him he can't hit a cow's bum and all that.
Unlike Jack, whose swing was as simple as he could make it - he could always manufacture some kind of score with any sort of form. Unlike Faldo, whose swing never let him down - it was his putting that finished him off.
I'm beginning to wonder if this head dipping frenzy that the great players of today use is actually the best way to swing a club.
Is it not more of a case that these guys are great golfers despite their faulty swings, rather than because of their great swings?
